The wildlife resources of Hawai`i are national treasures as important as the Liberty Bell or the Statue of Liberty.

And yet, many of our wildlife resources are under increasing pressure in the form of over harvest, illegal hunting, habitat loss, environmental pollution, and introduction of predators or diseases.
