If we do not take steps to protect and nurture our fish populations, they may one day reach the point of no return. Their numbers will be too low to recover and some species may be lost forever. One day, we may only see certain marine species behind glass in aquariums the way we see protected species in zoos. If this sounds unlikely, there are countries where this has already happened. So take only what you need from the sea, and let the rest go, for the benefit of future generations.
